  6. What type of work were the men doing?
  7. Was it important for the government to combat unemployment by hiring people to do jobs like this or not?  Explain.

  9. 1st examine the issues question- "How can the government help failing industries"?
  10. 2nd examine the issues question- "What can be done to ease unemployment"?
  11. 3rd examine the issues question- "What would you do to restore public confidence and economic security"?
  12. 4th examine the issues question- "How would you get money to pay for your proposed recovery programs"?

    Chapter 23 Vocab and Skillbuilders due 1/9/19- Accurately define all boldfaced terms and names on paper only in Chapter 23 section 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.  Those are what I call vocab.  There are 29 of them in 5 sections combined.  Also, to the best of your ability, answer the "skillbuilder" questions on pages 699 (23.1), 703 (23.2), 719 (23.4) and 723 (23.5).  If you feel that you cannot answer them on your own, ask for help.  Leaving things blank or having inaccurate information does not get you full credit.
