  4. How do you think the people in the photo feel or what are they thinking?
  5. What surprises you in the timeline?
  6. What is notable to the Great Depression from the timeline?
  7. blue question- What would you do to feed your family?
  8. 1st examine the issues question- What groups of people will be most hurt by the economic crash?
  9. 2nd examine the issues question- What can you do to find a paying job?
  10. 3rd examine the issues question- What can unemployed and impoverished people do to help each other?
Student Learning objective- Students will develop a baseline of knowledge to introduce the Great Depression. This contributes to the overarching unit objective of students understanding the struggles of citizens of the US during the Great Depression and the impact it had on society.

Chapter 22 Vocab and Skillbuilders due 1/7/18- Accurately define all boldfaced terms and names on paper only in Chapter 22 section 1, 2, and 3.  Those are what I call vocab.  There are 19 of them in 3 sections combined.  Also, to the best of your ability, answer the "skillbuilder" questions on pages 673 (22.1), 674 (22.1), 676 (22.1), and 680 (22.2).  If you feel that you cannot answer them on your own, ask for help.  Leaving things blank or having inaccurate information does not get you full credit.
